This calculator shows what you really keep from a Daraz order in Pakistan once commission, the payment handling fee, shipping, tax and your own costs are taken out. It is meant for small sellers who list a product at Rs 2,500 and are surprised when the payout is a lot smaller.
The defaults use rates published for 2026: category commission examples, a 2.25% payment fee, provincial sales tax on fees, and the section 6A income tax on online marketplace sales. Daraz shows the full commission sheet only inside Seller Center, so every rate stays editable. Put in the numbers from your own statement and the result gets even closer.
How to use
- Enter the Selling price per item (Rs), your Product cost per item (Rs) and the Quantity per order.
- Pick your Category. This fills in a typical Commission (%). If your Seller Center shows a different rate, type it in.
- Check the Payment handling fee (%) and enter the Shipping fee charged to you per order and your Packaging per order.
- Choose How the buyer paid. Cash on delivery sets income tax to 2%, digital payments to 1%. Set Sales tax on fees (%) for your province.
- Add any Voucher or discount you fund per order and Other costs per order.
- Read Net profit per order, Payout per order, Total Daraz deductions, margin, ROI and Break-even price. The Breakdown per order table shows every line.
The rates behind the defaults
Commission depends on the category and runs from a few percent to about 20%. Published 2026 breakdowns give roughly 18.5% for fashion, about 14.5% to 15% for skin care and cookware, 12.9% for mobile accessories, 8.9% for home appliances and about 7% for groceries. Packaging supplies sit much lower. You can find your exact rate in Seller Center under Finance, then Fee Structure.
The payment handling fee shows up as 2.25% of the selling price in most 2026 statements, whether the buyer pays cash or by card. Some sellers report a lower figure, which is why the field stays open.
Daraz also charges provincial sales tax on its own fees, not on your product: 16% in Punjab and 15% in Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The tool applies it to commission, the payment fee and shipping.
Shipping charged to sellers is usually around Rs 109 to 160 for a small parcel, depending on weight and delivery zone. Free Shipping Max campaigns work differently: they take a percentage of the order with a floor and a cap, so enter that amount yourself.
Income tax under section 6A
Since the Finance Act 2025, sales of goods ordered online through a Pakistani marketplace are taxed under section 6A of the Income Tax Ordinance. The rate depends on how the buyer pays. It is 1% when payment goes through a bank, card or wallet, and 2% on cash on delivery, collected by the courier. The Finance Act 2026 kept these rates. For most small sellers this tax is final, so it is a real cost you should price in. Sellers with turnover above Rs 200 million can adjust it against their normal tax.
Marketplaces and couriers are also no longer allowed to serve unregistered sellers, so make sure your NTN and registration are in order. If you are unsure how this applies to you, a tax adviser can check it in a few minutes.
A quick example with the defaults: a Rs 2,500 mobile accessory at 12.9% commission and 2.25% payment fee is about Rs 379 in fees. Add Rs 150 shipping, 16% sales tax on those fees and 2% income tax for a cash on delivery order, and the payout is about Rs 1,837. Take off Rs 1,200 product cost and Rs 40 packaging and you keep roughly Rs 597.
Pricing tips for Daraz
The Break-even price is the lowest price per item where you neither make nor lose money. Never join a campaign or flash sale that pushes you below it. Campaign discounts and vouchers come out of your pocket, so add them in the voucher field and see whether the extra volume is really worth it.
Bundling helps too. Shipping and packaging are per order, not per item, so selling two units in one order spreads those costs. Set Quantity per order to 2 and compare the margin.
FAQ

Is this calculator free, and is my data saved?
It is free and works in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded or stored.
Why is my payout lower than the calculator shows?
Usually a rate is different from what you entered, or there is a deduction you didn't include, such as a campaign fee, a penalty or a return. Compare line by line with your payout statement.
How much tax does Daraz deduct?
Under section 6A it is 1% of the sale when the buyer pays digitally and 2% on cash on delivery. Sales tax of 15% or 16% is also charged on Daraz's fees, depending on your province.
